Pricing Process
The Process
I begin by learning about you and/or your company so that your web site
showcases everything that you or your business has to offer. Your web site will be,
after all, what your clients see first.
After we discuss your business, your objective for the web site (whether it is to be
an information, e-commerce, or drive in the business type of site), your wants and
desires regarding the look and feel of the site; I take from you any materials you
may currently use for marketing – business card, brochure, logo, etc. If these
materials are available, it is important to incorporate them into the look and feel
of the proposed web site to continue the company or product “branding”.
I then ask you to do a little homework – surf the web. Search for similar
businesses. With paper and pencil in hand, record the first 3 – 5 web sites you
come across – write down the URL, name of site, what do you like about a web
site, what do you dislike. It can be anything – the color, too busy, too plain, love
the wording, hate the wording; whatever comes to mind.
This little exercise will give me an insight into your taste and style – are you
modern, classic, retro, and so forth. It aids me in the creation of a custom web site,
tailored to your needs and desires. My objective is to ensure that your site is
stylish, clear, and easy to navigate, whether your web site is a simple three or four
page "business card" or a more complex, information-packed, database-driven one.
Pricing
I request that if you are interested in my work and you would like a basic quote –
call or email me. We will discuss your wish list and I will be able to provide you
with an estimate.
Complexity of the site, complexity of flash animation, the quantity of pages, forms,
layout, image purchase, movie clip purchase, content writing, and text editing all
contributes to the bottom-line and may add cost. You will find that my price for a custom web site is very reasonable and highly
competitive. |
